I love this Korean Steamed Egg recipe because you can enjoy it like a soup. Trust me, you can. I used my simple homemade chicken broth as the base so I didn’t feel bad for consuming every last bite of this dish (you wouldn’t be able to help yourself anyway). The great thing about cooking with a ceramic stone pot is you can do everything in one pot.

Steps

1
Done

In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs, fish sauce and half the scallions. Mix well.

2
Done

In a ceramic stone pot over medium high heat, boil the chicken broth.

3
Done

When the chicken broth boils, bring the heat to a simmer (low heat) and add the egg mixture. Stir well for 10 seconds until combined. Cover the lid and let simmer for about 5 minutes, until the egg thickens.

4
Done

Turn off the heat, then drizzle the sesame oil around the entire surface and garnish with remaining scallions. Serve piping hot!
