Steam rice

In a rice cooker or small saucepan, add jasmine rice and enough water to cover the rice by 1/2-inch. Cook until rice is soft then remove from heat.

Fry rice with garlic

In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. When hot, add garlic and sautee for 30 seconds until browned. Add steamed rice and toss to combine with garlic for 5 minutes. Rice is ready when slightly browned. Serve in a bowl and enjoy!
