NOT SPONSORED – I really like the thick cut beef ribs that you can find at BJ’s Wholesale Club. They come with a lot of meat and are already sliced to look like the ribs in these pictures. Ribs that are thinner or smaller do not work as well with this recipe (trust us, we tried them too!)

Steps

1
Done

In a small bowl, mix the Brown Sugar Bourbon and Sriracha powders to fully combine.

2
Done

Rinse the beef ribs then pat dry. Rub the spice mix on all sides of the ribs.

3
Done

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

4
Done

Heat a skillet over medium heat. When hot after 1 minute, add vegetable oil. Working in batches, brown the ribs on all sides for about 1 minute each side (4 minutes total). Ribs shouldn't be fully cooked but the outside should be mostly browned. Place ribs on a baking pan lined with aluminum foil.

5
Done

Bake ribs on the center rack in the oven at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. It is ready when you slice through the center of the ribs by the bones and it is not bleeding (it can be brownish pink in the middle but shouldn't be bleeding). Remove from oven and enjoy!
